# Aleph Zero smart contracts basics

This short tutorial will guide you through the basics of smart contracts functionality on Aleph Zero Testnet.

In the next pages we will show how to set up your Testnet account, how to prepare you computer for smart contract development, how to write, compile and deploy them, and finally how to interact with your deployed smart contracts. \
